The Australian Wildlife Marathon is set in Victoria's High Country is one of the most amazing runs that Australia has to offer. There is a choice of 4 distances: A 50km, Marathon, Half-Marathon, and 5K covering superb scenery. The beautiful Delatite River, the historic Klingsporn Track, majestic Mt Buller, Mt Stirling and the historic Craig’s Hut are just a few dazzling sights you'll see!

The start finish is at Mt. Buller Village Square and covers some of Victoria’s great alpine scenery, including views of the Crosscut saw, Mt. Speculation, Mt. Buggery, Hell's Window, and Mt. Magdala.

The 50KM / Marathon course takes place in Mount Stirling, Craigs Hut, great views over the Crosscut Saw and the Bluff, a scenic jog along the banks of the Delatite River and a final crushing climb to the summit of Mount Buller itself before an exhilarating 2km descent to the finish line. 

The Half-Marathon starts and finishes at Mt Buller and takes in Mt Stirling.

Mandatory Safety Gear
* Waterproof and windproof jacket with hood
* Waterproof and windproof pants
* Spare long sleeved thermal top and long johns (not “skins” or equivalent) 
* Beanie/hat/gloves
* Whistle
* Water bottle - mandatory 16 oz. + bottle
* Space blanket 

Recommended Safety Gear
* Personal First aid, bandaids, antiseptic, painkillers, elastic bandage, etc.
* Mobile phone
* Food – There will be food at aid stations but anything you need specifically
* Camera – (highly recommended) – scenery is fantastic!

The trails are very well marked and there will be first aid stations along the way that have water, food, electrolytes.
